Mike Weller, CPA Promoted to Principal
Lansing, MI—The local CPA and business advisory firm of Maner Costerisan is pleased to announce that Michael S. Weller, CPA has been promoted to principal of the firm.
“Since he joined the firm, Mike as demonstrated the leadership, motivation and technical skills necessary to be a strong firm leader,” says Bruce J. Weller joined Maner Costerisan in 1989 and previously served as senior manager. In his new role, he provides accounting and tax services to medical and dental practices and nonprofit organizations, such as associations and churches. Additionally, Weller helps oversee the firm’s Business Accounting Services Department where he offers expertise in the areas of small business accounting and financial statement preparation. His departmental responsibilities include reviewing financial statements and payroll tax returns prepared by the department’s staff and providing accounting software training to both staff and clients.
Weller is a graduate of Anderson University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1985. He has also completed coursework at Michigan State University. Weller’s professional memberships include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA), Medical Group Management Association (MGMA), American Payroll Association (APA) and BDO Seidman Alliance Health Practice Group. He currently resides in East Lansing.
