Steve is a principal in Maner Costerisan’s Audit department and leads the firm’s education specialty. He brings more than 20 years of professional expertise to the audit team and specializes in providing audit services to school districts, governments and small business clients. A veteran leader who wears many hats, Steve also serves as the firm’s treasurer, ensuring Maner provides exceptional client service while meeting its revenue goals.

Inspired to enter the accounting field by his father and uncle, who are successful accountants in the public and private sectors, Steve attributes his personal success to his industry expertise, focus on client service and his competitive drive. Always looking to improve and gain additional expertise, Steve shares his industry knowledge and serves as a regular speaker at a variety of industry events, including the MICPA’s Governmental Conference, Michigan School Business Officials, Southwest Michigan School Business Officials and Central Michigan School Business Officials conferences.

A graduate of Michigan State University, Steve was raised in Frankenmuth, Michigan, and currently resides in DeWitt, Michigan, with his wife and daughter.  Away from the office, he can often be found outdoors, where he enjoys hunting, fishing, playing golf, tennis, pickleball and various other sports.

I do whatever it takes to help my clients and ensure their continued success.
